Somedays you just get lucky and find a perfect day. New fallen snow, the bluest blue a sky can be, with just a hint of puffy white clouds. Not a speck of wind or breeze, just the air passing by as you scurry up the trail. You haven't been able to find many of these days this year. The snow has been few and far between and temperatures have made it hard to stick around. We just happened to get lucky to experience such a day.
If you happen to get cold there is a warming hut with wood burning stove and wood floor. Its a great place to stop and have lunch or if you are really brave spend the night. Someday we may try this trail by moonlight.
It may be luck that brings the perfect day, but it's smarts that knows what to do with it. Looks beautiful Sheila. A moonlight ski would be amazing as well.
I live a quiet life here in the middle of Idaho. I have 3 kids 2 who are grown and one still in school. I am married to a great man who is very patient and understanding.

Wow, that IS the perfect day. Looks like an awesome trail - the scenery is incredible! I'm trying not to be jealous... but I'm failing. :)
