This poor chair was rescued from Mom's garage just about ready to go in the garbage trailer. It had so many memories that I just couldn't let it happen. (Plus I inherited that saving gene from her that prevents me from throwing things away.) I took it home and through a little elbow grease renewed it! Sorry I just couldn't save the attractive farm scenery upholstry. I almost saved it to make a pillow though!

That's wonderful. It's a perfect way to honor Grandma's memory. And hello to the old player piano peeking around the wall!
It looks great! What a treasure!
Wow - you did a great job! I wouldn't have any idea where to begin. It looks fantastic!
Nice job on the chair. I'm sure grandma would love it.
Thanks, I looks at that chair for so many years and thought it had potential. It might have been my motivation to learn how to upholster.
Beautifully done!

I must be getting old cause I don't remember that chair. Then I don't remember half the stuff in my own house either. Great job on it however. I think I had my name on it so now I want it back.
Dave I was sure hoping that you might have been able to give me an idea on where this chair came from. It had been in the basement for years. I'm thinking it was either Grandma Andersons or Grandpa Dickeys.
